PRESERVING AND MATURING AGENTS

  1. PRESERVIT, Code KS
    Liquid food preservative. Need not be declared on finished product. Can be used for all foods for preserving purposes, especially suitable for fish products and pre-packed salads.

  2. KONSERVIT, Code KVT
    Food preservative in powder form. Konservit can also be dissolved in water and used in liquid form. Need not be declared on finished product. Can be used for all foods which are to be preserved without heating.

  3. OKE Solution, Code OKE-Sol
    An extremely popular and versatile preservative. To kill bacteria on food surfaces, e.g. meat and fish products, fruit and vegetables.The food is dipped in the solution and removed after 10 seconds. OKE Solution need not be declared on finished product. It can also be used in marinades and pickling, reducing the amount of vinegar required. Other applications include the enhancement of salt-based canned food solutions.

  4. KRABBSYN, Code Kbb-K
    To preserve shelled prawns and shrimps. Contains the preserving agent benzoic acid.

  5. KRABBSYN, Code Kbb-S
    To preserve unshelled prawns and shrimps. Contains the preserving agent benzoic acid.

  6. POLLACK Solution, Code SLF/83
    To mature and flavour all kinds of salmon-substitute products, e.g. shredded pollack. Contains the preserving agent benzoic acid.

  7. MATURING AGENT FOR SMOKED HERRING, Code RMR
    For fillets of smoked herring (matjes). Soaking time: 24 to 48 hours.  Available with or     without the preserving agent benzoic acid.

  8. MATURING AGENT FOR HERRING, Code MR
    For fillets of herring (matjes). Soaking time: 24 to 48 hours. Available with or without the preserving agent benzoic acid.
